I’ve been wanting a few boxes and things to organize random tid-bits and things I have in my room, and my dad & brother had these old hockey card tin boxes laying around. They’re the perfect size to hold craft supplies, extra cords, or any other things you have that don’t have a home (and probably end up on the floor instead…).
So, I bought some spray-paint, then went outside yesterday to paint them. And honestly, I’m an extreme amateur when it comes to painting things. As you can see, I missed a whole side of the lid, and the other lid I sprayed too much paint, and my inner 5-year old couldn’t help but see if it was done drying. It wasn’t. Whoops!
I think it would be really fun to buy a few other colours, and tape off areas to make lines or different shapes on the tins. The possibilities with decorating them are endless, and it’s super cheap!
What do you need?
– a few old tin boxes lying around
– spray paint in your choice of colours
– sand paper (sand the tins before, so the paint has a better hold on the smooth surface)
