Elizabeth Garcia {Be Featured with Haley}

Hey there!

Im Elizabeth! Im a loud, passionate, adventurous, crazy, inspired, dreamer, Jesus loving, 17 year old, entrepreneur!  Ive just recently quit my day job to pursue the calling God has placed on my life to run my own photography business full time and whole-heartedly. Its exciting, sometimes scary, a lot of work to get it going but extremely worth it! Photography has been a big part of my life for a while now!  I have always been interested in pictures whether it was when I was little and I loved to pose for the camera or as I got older I would play with my uncles camera phones, and when I got my first point and shoot I was the girl that had friends over and had “photo shoots” in my backyard!

Thanks to my parents, they took that passion they saw in me and constantly encouraged me to turn it into something I could do forever! Ill quote my dad on this “Find something you love to do and you’ll never work a day in your life.” I know he didn’t come up with that but in my eyes he did! It has stuck with me ever since I heard it the first time! Honestly without support from my family and encouragement from so many great friends and my Faith in what Christ has done, I don’t know where Id be! Im so Thankful for where God has me today! Not many 17 year old, home-schooled Juniors can say they run their own business. I can tell you its only by Gods grace!

I would like to think of my art as timeless, something that will never go out of style. I want people to look at their photos many years from now and remember me taking their photos and still loving them! Ive recently been blessed to have the most amazing opportunities to travel and take photographs of some pretty awesome people! I cant believe this is my “job”. sometimes when Im behind my camera putting together something with a client I know is about to be awesome I stop and think “woah, I get paid for this?” Its a pretty cool feeling.  I love what I do.
