Fall Senior Session Inspiration

It’s September, which means sweater weather and those gorgeous golden hours are on their way. As we prepare to head into fall, take a look at Shilo’s senior shoot below . . . because she might’ve just set the tone for an autumn full of photography. Something short and sweet about you: I live on a little farm in the middle-of-nowhere, Ohio, where I get to explore a little piece of the Lord’s creation every day. I love long road trips, dancing in my kitchen, and making people smile.

About this session: My sweet friend Rachel came to my house for my graduation party a day early, so we decided to have a little fun by playing in the flowers and taking a few photos.

Gear used: Canon 6D + Sigma 35mm 1.4 ART

Why photography? Since I was a little kid, I’ve loved cameras and old photos. They made me happy then, and still do. Photography makes me feel free in a way, and lets me show stories without speaking.

How does your relationship with Jesus affect your work? I want all my clients to feel loved the same way that Jesus loves me. So I like to do everything I can to show them how special they really are.
