I’m a Delight {& Be} Girl
These are MY GIRLS!!!! My family has gotten used to me saying “my girls” or hearing me say “one of my sweet girls. . .”. because that is how I feel about the incredible young women I have gotten to know because of Delight. Most of the girls refer to me as “Momma Wall” & I feel blessed to think of them as adopted “daughters”, friends, & sisters-in-Christ! I can’t wait for you to hear them tell you about Delight for themselves!!! Throughout watching this video (posted below!), I found my emotions going back and forth between a big cheesy grin on my face (thanks, Lisa!! ;)) to being choked up with tears streaming down my cheeks!!! I know that God is doing such powerful things within Delight. . .things I am unaware of and I may never even know about! But hearing this touched my heart in ways that words can’t adequately express. God is so good, so faithful and so loving. . . I can’t imagine my life without these girls in my life. I just love them so much & desire for them to have every opportunity possible to grow closer to Jesus, to feel loved, supported and safe. I desire Delight to be a place that continues to bring healing & the hope of Jesus Christ.
People have often said to me “you created something so beautiful and unique”. . . and my response is “no one humanly could EVER create something like Delight.” It is supernatural. . .as crazy as that may sound. But truly, only our Creator, our Heavenly Father could have made something so INCREDIBLE! It is really difficult to even explain. If you haven’t read Sunday’s blog post yet, I would encourage you to read more of the girls hearts. Delight is a God-given love, a God-given gift and blessing in all of our lives who are involved in this ministry. That is why we are asking you to support it. . .because we see this as a calling, we see it as life-changing & we see that God is doing something bigger than we can humanly see.
My heart is overwhelmed with joy knowing what a beautiful community God has created with Delight! These are just a few out of 650+ girls who are involved in Delight! I wish we could share every girls story. . .because they are all so special and so valued and so unique. One of the highlights for me personally this past year has been receiving wedding invitations from Delight girls. . . and better than that is when I see their wedding pictures with their bridemaids who have flown in from across the country to be in their wedding!!! Because they met each other through Delight!! Is that not AWESOMELY AMAZING? These girls are making true, deep, lifelong friendships. They challenge each other to think deeply & to dig in the word of God to find truth, they help each other with business & photography related questions, they pray with each other, they are there for each other. It is so extraordinary to see God so powerfully working daily in these girls lives. Take a look at the video below & see just a tidbit of what is happening in our precious Delight & Be community!!!

We are asking this upcoming month of December that you would donate towards the monthly expenses of theDelight House, the scholarship fund or to help with the costs of the completion of the Delight House!
