Where do you call home?

One of our team members recently introduced me to Wunderlist which is a free online tool for making and sharing lists. Our team uses it to stay connected now, and it is usually open on my desktop.

What are five words friends would use to describe you?

Passionate, spontaneous, dreamer, thinker, doer

If you could have lunch with one person, who would it be and why?

I would love to have lunch with Beth Moore. It was during my Senior year of college that I fell in love with God’ s Word in my dorm room with one of her studies. It was that year that I began to feel the Lord calling me to teach women the Bible, and I am so thankful for her passion that helped ignite my own passion for Scripture.

How did God lead you to what you are doing today?

My husband and I were full time wedding photographers, when we unexpectedly lost our second daughter. The greatest tragedy in my life is also what pushed me to finally write a devotional for women. The pages of my first devotional were taken from the pages of my journal in the weeks after our daughter passed away and compiled into a devotional to help women know that God is good no matter what we face.

How long have you had your business?

2 years!

What is your favorite aspect of what you do?

I love being able to write and create beautiful things, but most of all, I love hearing from women who have been encouraged in their walk with the Lord and have learned to love God’s Word.

What advice would you give to your 15 year old self?

Love God’s Word and chase your dreams

How does your relationship with God affect the way you do business?

My relationship with God affects every aspect of my business. It reminds me to be a light to those around me, to give people grace, and to realize that any success I have is only from Him.

What is one of the greatest challenges of your business?

Time management is a challenge. With young children and a growing team, it is important to make systems and plan ahead, and also take time to enjoy life.

How would you describe your style?

Bright, clean, and feminine

Who has been the most influential person in your life?

My husband Jeremy. We met and married young, and we like to joke that we grew up together. We have faced the most wonderful times and the greatest tragedies together and it has only made our love grow stronger.

Who or what is the greatest love of your life?

I would not be where I am today without Jesus. He has carried me through every moment and given me purpose.

Where do you find your inspiration?

In writing, I find my inspiration in Scripture. Seeing the gospel and the story of redemption weaved into every verse from Genesis to Revelation is a sweet reminder of how God has pursued our hearts. In design, I am a lover of flowers and they tend to show up all over my design.

If you could choose one client you’d want to work with, who would it be?

My ideal clients are normal everyday women who love Jesus. I am passionate about helping women cultivate an intentional walk with God.
