Meeting the Vendors | Delight Retreat Pt. III
This post is one I have been so excited about, from the very minute I took pictures of each item! You guys have no idea just how beautiful these gifts from each vendor were!! Every year, a few months before our retreat, we write some of our favorite companies and people in the creative industry and just pray that the right people can come alongside and support us and our girls!! It’s always such a huge treat to be able to have swag bags waiting on the girls’ beds when they arrive. They’re always filled with different items, from discount codes for hand lettered prints to our custom designed t-shirts. It’s just one extra way of loving the girls!!
This year, we had vendors from all across the country send us one of a kind giveaways, and gifts enough to share with each girl, and we are SO thankful for them, their creative talent, and for sharing it with US!!! Aaaand just because there’s too much pretty not to share…we’ll just give you a full experience as we dive right in to this year’s swag bags and let you see just what filled them!!

Ohhhh, we totally squealed when we got this box in the mail from Deeply Rooted!!! Their magazines are absolutely stunning!
You know those beautiful notebooks you see in stores like Anthropologie and Paper Source!? They’re from Rifle Paper Co, and they sent us enough of these notebooks for each girl!! <3
Last year, I was attending the Showit United Conference in Arizona, and when we arrived, we had THESE killer snack boxes from Graze in our bags!! So, we thought it would be so special to include them in the girls’ bags at our retreat!! They wrote us back and sent the cutest treats!
If you’re not following Kristen Snow, you need to be!! She’s so talented when it comes to hand lettering, and sent discount codes for each of the girls to get prints of Galatians 5:1!
I first heard Lara Casey (@laracasey) speak with Emily Ley (@emilyley) at a Pursuit 31 Conference at Berry College in Rome, Georgia a few years back. They spoke on capacity and knowing your limits, and saying yes to the right things. We knew they would be such an incredible addition to our swag bags, and we wrote them hoping they would say YES!!! And they did! We received these gorgeous prints in the mail and they are beaaaautiful!!
Clickin’ Moms sent us their most recent magazine, and it’s FULL of tidbits of wisdom and information for the modern photographer. Thank you, soooo much!! <3
Prior to the retreat, we’d been in contact with Jennifer Olmstead and Jeffrey Shipley, the brilliant designers behind the Tonic Site Shop, and they sent 25 incredible discounts for EACH girl to launch their websites and get their businesses established!! You have to check out their work, it’s flawless!
Remember the stunning blonde who was in the images of our first posts on the retreat!? The one who was leading worship? That’s our very own Katie Dommel, and she is gifted in too many areas to count. She designed the look for both our My Delight is In Her t-shirts AND these mugs that we had at the retreat!! How beautiful are these!? Shea Mack, one of our Graphic Arts leaders, sent us THESE printables that are hanging in my house right now! She’s so talented and we’re so blessed to have her!!
If you’re looking for someone new to follow on instagram, you HAVE to follow @itsthegrayfamily. Zach and Jody Gray are powerhouse photographers in the industry and have influenced so many small business owners, and they have the CUTEST kids to boot!! They sent us their Harvest CD’s for EACH girl to give them tools to have their business thrive! <3
Shauna Niequist has written the popular books like Bread and Wine, Cold Tangerines, Present over Perfect, and THIS read, her Savor book!! She sent us TWENTY FIVE copies for each girl. These were an absolute gift to include in our swag bags!! Thank you so much, Shauna!!
How pretty are these iMO straps!? Their company sent us a HUGE shipment of straps varying in pattern and color, and it was so special for the girls to choose one that fit their personality!!
And Ashlee Proffitt, an incredible business coach, designer, blogger, and speaker, sent us her verse cards that are absolutely perfect!!!
A group of Delight leaders, Katie Dommel, Emily Moller, Emily Magers, Caryn Hart, Elizabeth Langford and Kristin Wall collaborated their journal entries and heart for freedom and THIS devotional happened! It’s our very first (and not our last!!!) tangible book that we will be selling and will be adding new volumes to!! We can’t WAIT to share them with you!! Keep scrolling to see a bit of the inside :)
And last, but not least, The House of Belonging, a dreamy company, sent us these print outs for the girls that are such an incredible reminder!!
We’re SO thankful for each and every person who poured out their hearts, whether through speaking, writing, gifts, books, prints, discounts, or just being THEM for our girls at this year’s spring retreat We can’t WAIT to release an announcement to you guys SO SOON, that is an announcement unlike ANY other and will have you inching to the edge of your seat to hear the news!!!
