Something short and sweet about you: Call me Ash :) I’m 22, a wife, dog & cat mom, and in my second full year of business!

About this session: This session was and always will be one of my favorites… when my sweet friend Emily (that I’d only met three months previous to this session) asked me to be her wedding photographer I was beyond ecstatic! She had very quickly become one of my closest friends, a true testament of God providing incredible Christian girlfriends for me.

Did this session challenge you? YES! I usually shoot in parks and areas with heavy greenery and trees so this session was super fun and stretching for me.

What gear did you use?: Nikon D610 & 50mm 1.8 – My absolute favorite focal length!
Why photography: I love serving and loving on people, simple as that. Photography gives me an outlet to love people like Jesus does, get to know incredible couples who are working to build a life together, and come along side of a couple in the beginning of that life together.

How does your relationship with Jesus effect your work? In so many ways. I love that I’m able to share what the Lord is doing in my life and my own marriage with my brides. It gives me the opportunity to love on people the way Jesus loves them, and it also allows me to show people how incredible they are and that they are absolutely beautiful the way that God made them!
