This is their story…
Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl.
For their wedding day he wanted to get her a vintage locket with a photo so she could always carry him with her. He searched high and low, in antique stores, and thrift stores, on the Internet, in the mall and everywhere in between chasing after the perfect locket.
In the end he was never was able to find one that was just right and he ended up buying a silver locket he didn’t particularly like to give her on the wedding day.
After almost a year of happy marriage suddenly the boy found the perfect locket made by a fabulously talented local jewelry artist. It was vintage, it was brass, and not only did it have a beautiful photo on the front, but it also had a place for two photos on the inside. He bought it for their one-year anniversary.
However, the story didn’t stop there. This in love boy and his beautiful bride were wedding photographers.
They really thought all the brides and grooms who booked them were awesome and they were so thankful for each and every couple that they wanted to share the love and give each client a custom long lasting gift. The boy and girl loved the locket so much that they decided to send each couple a locket with photos from that couples engagement session.
So the happy boy and girl photographers commissioned that jewelry artist where they got their locket to put one of the more artistic photos from each engagement session on the front, and a more intimate photo on the inside.
They sent these lockets to each and every one of their clients. As it turns out love is often reciprocated and their clients in turn wore the lockets everywhere, told all their friends how much they loved their photographers and ended up sending the happy couple a whole lot of thank you cards and gifts. All the friends of the clients also ended up booking the happy couple to do their wedding photos and the love cycle continued.
They would have all lived happily ever after. But the in love photographer boy and girl were sad that more photographers didn’t have a way to share the love by sending lockets. The jewlery artist they has discovered could only make so many lockets at a time and was very busy with her own fabulous jewelry designs. There had to be a way to let other photographer share the joy of gift giving, and this is where chasing lockets was born. Its a fast and easy work flow allowing photographers to create and send their clients a beautiful long lasting custom gift they can keep the rest of their lives. This brought the boy and girl joy.
