It is giveaway time!!!!!! This month on the blog I will be giving away two books that I love and that have the theme of thankfulness!
The first book is – Choosing Gratitude by Nancy Leigh DeMoss!
I really enjoyed this book and the 30-day devotional that comes in the back of the book! I read this on recommendation of my mom and I learned so much about what it means to choose to be grateful on a daily basis for all the things God has blessed me with! One of my favorite quotes from this book is, “The grateful heart that springs forth in joy is not acquired in a moment; it is the fruit of a thousand choices.” – Nancy Leigh DeMoss
The second book I will be giving away is – One Thousand Gifts (Devotional) by Ann Voskamp!
About two years ago I read One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. I enjoyed it very much and decided to start my own list of one thousand things that I am thankful for! Around the time I finished my list, I was given a copy of the devotional that is based off of the book and I loved it almost more than the first book! Instead of chapters the devotional has little bits for each day to reflect on and think about. It also includes space in the back for you to list your own 1,000 things that you are thankful for! One of my favorite quotes from the devotional is, “This is what all the great artists and thinkers do – they stay awake to the wonder of God’s world. Great thinkers are the grateful thankers – the real greats live gratefully.” – Ann Voskamp
So, hopefully by now you are thinking to yourself, “how can I win these books!?” Well, here is your answer! All you have to do to be entered in the drawing is leave a comment on this post of one thing that you are thankful for! On November 21, 2013, I will put all of the names into a bowl and draw one name for each book! The winners will then be announced in my blog post on November 22, 2013!! Let the commenting begin!
I am so excited to hear about the things that you are thankful for! – Kristina

Oh, I’ve been thinking about doing the 1,000 gifts challenge for the new year. I read the book for the first time this year and it rocked my world. This year I am especially thankful for my best friend. She’s been with me through thick and thin.
Lovely giveaway, thank you for hosting!
My dear cousin, Kristina :)

I’m thankful that in the midst of my insecurity and doubt, God showed up and revealed a passion I didn’t know I had! I’m so thankful for the ability to make people happy by taking their pictures and capturing their most beautiful moments.
I am thankful for knitting. It keeps my hands busy while calming my mind and spirit which is something I’ve been needing of late. :)

I’m grateful for God’s grace and strength that is always with me, no matter how weak or mistake-ridden I am. What a gift!
I am thankful for my husband. After two pregnancy losses in 4 short months, he has proven to be deeply rooted in Christ and has set a beautiful example for me to truth god even in the hard times. I am so thankful for his loving patience, his prayera, and his faithfulness to me and The Lord.
I am thankful for my earthly father who asked me tonight how he could pray for me. He has always been there when I needed him. It’s such a big blessing!
I am so thankful for my family, They put up with so much from me and always seem to be able to put a smile on my face and point me back to Christ when I’m at my lowest. So thankful. :)
I am thankful for the Holy Spirit and the reminders that He gives me each and every day! I was beginning to get frustrated this evening and the Lord really minded me to “be angry and do not sin” and act in a way that represents Christ – helloooo conviction! So tonight I am thankful for the Holy Spirit. :) {and getting in on the giveaway on the last day! ;)}
