Hey friends! I’m Elizabeth, the girl behind the be featured section. My heart for my little slice of the Delight blog is to just reinforce what you’re reading every other day here! To inspire you, and enable you to be the BEST version of yourself! I’m so inspired by the passion of others because I believe it totally reflects in their images, thats why I LOVE getting to feature and interview some crazy-amazing talent here on the be Featured section! I am so honored to be able to feature those who are working hard, hustling, serving others, grinding to find their niche, making changes and blazing the trail, being themselves as artists and have simply just worked really hard to get to where they are at!

Some things you might like to know about me is I am a super passionate person! Which also translates as I love hard and laugh loud. I live in southern California, so I guess you can say I’m a natural born dreamer, I am a travel advocate, an artist, and a servant to my Lord and savior, He has my devotion.

I keep busy with lots of work of various kinds but when I do have spare time you can find me at disneyland, playing an instrument, making lattes or with my family and friends. 

What I love most about art is that it is definitely always evolving, and if we let it, it can stretch and mold us in really beautiful ways. Art is a big part of my life, so cultivating creating into worshipping my creator has been so influential in my walk with my heavenly Father. I am beyond blessed for the gift He has given me with the Camera in my hands! He has taken me on a crazy wild adventure and I’ve gotten to connect with some of the most meaningful people in my life because He placed photography in my path. Hand-lettering, sketching and playing music have really been a new-born skill in my life, and with keeping up with other right-brained activity and learning more creative outlets has helped me keep my photography my main passion and fresh!

Mainly, I travel all over the U.S. for weddings and portrait work and it is most literally my dream come true! The fact that I get to meet new people and see new cities for a living blows my mind! Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I am living out my life! I just recently got home from meeting and staying with a delight girl up in Alaska and I was humbled and reminded of the amazing tool that photography is. Touching people in a way that can’t be done any other way. Photographs are powerful and life changing!  I am forever grateful for this season of my life, it has been sweet, and although more often than not it is hard… I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Weddings are “my thing” I am in my element when I am documenting someones wedding day, no nerves, just adrenaline and passion is what keeps me filled and inspired. I love love and just like the next girl, I am a hopeless romantic. Shooting my first wedding, although far from perfect, was a big “Ah-ha!” moment for me. Something clicked deep down inside of me, I truly loved every minute of that hot, stressful, tiring day back in april 2013 and decided it was something I joyfully wanted to do over and over again. Why? Because no two weddings are the same, and genuine love excites me like no other, joy is contagious and adoration is intriguing to me.  Creating something that generations to come to look back upon is my honor to be a part of something that is bigger than myself.

I have a heart to serve, help and educate others and I am thrilled being apart of this amazing platform here on the delight blog for about a year and a half now. I know that there is a thousand other things on the internet that you could be looking at so as a team we want to not just thank you, but let you know we appreciate you, your views, likes and shares and we work hard at keeping fresh, consistent, inspiring content here for you every. single. day! I am so lucky to work with such an amazing team filled with some seriously talent writers, leaders, artists, teachers ect.
