 1. How did the Delight Intensive impact your own personal life  and walk with the Lord?  How was it different than last year’s retreat?

 When I first heard about the “Delight Intensive” I honestly, didn’t know what to expect! I  had the privilege to attend the Delight retreats in the past two years, but hearing about  this Delight Intensive, I was curious as to what it was exactly. When I found out it was  more so, for learning and grow with our walks with Jesus and to have a better  understanding in his word, I couldn’t say no. What we learned at the Delight Intensive  impacted my personal life and walk with the Lord so much! I walked away from the  retreat motivated to dig deeper into His Word. Before the retreat, I was struggling on how  to read/understand the bible. I now have a clearer understanding. Jane Johnson, our  leader at the intensive gave us steps and ways on how to dig into the Word and really  grasp it. The Delight Intensive was also a place where I felt comfortable and where I  could just let all of my emotions out and I think each of us girls experienced that and we  were able to laugh, cry and have the most deepest of conversations. I think we all left the  retreat feeling like we had become a family. I have never experienced such a deep &  comfortable and where we could just talk about anything type of retreat.

 2. What was your absolutely favorite moment of last week that you will  never ever forget?

To be honest, aren’t late night talks at like 2 in the morning the most hilarious things? SO much laughter! Also, just being together, spending time together and feeling the Holy Spirit.

3. Is there anything else that you would like to share with us that you learned or that really spoke or encouraged you while at the intensive?

I wish with all of my heart that every young girl could attend one of these retreats. If they have ever felt like they just want to get away from everyday life and this crazy world and to just spend time with Jesus, this is the retreat for them! I promise you it will change your life and make SUCH an impact on it; it certainly did for me and I can only pray it does for each of the girls at the future retreats. It makes me pumped to get out there and tell everyone about Jesus because he is pretty amazing!!
