Can you believe it’s Christmas week already?! Since I’m hosting guests for Christmas at my house this year, I decided to think out of the box when it came to table wear and décor. I have very nice Christmas- themed china for the main course, but for serving appetizers and desserts, I found some fun, relatively inexpensive paper plates, napkins, straws and other fun accessories to bring a nod of whimsy and cheer to the celebration instead of the traditional red and green.
How fun is this design?! All paper products seen here, except for the wrapped package in the background are from the Meri Meri Design Company.
Instead of a table cloth, I decided to use silver polka-dotted and gold striped wrapping paper from Target. This is a fun, inexpensive way to cover your table, add texture and pattern and best of all, it makes for easy clean up! I also appreciate the lines on the opposite side of the paper, for gift-wrapping ease.
Feel free to express your style through your Christmas and New Years décor. Get creative! Wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays!
