{Be Styled} Keeping Skin Sane Through The Cold Winter Months

If you’re anything like me, you know that plunging outdoor temps mean more than just piling on the sweaters and scarves; it means our skin needs some extra attention and insulation from the harsh elements too!  So as we round out the month of October, I thought I’d share some of my current favorite products that are sure to keep the winter blues away…

 

1. I can’t say enough good things about this product! The NUDE Pro-Genious Treatment Oil is the best product I’ve used in years. I have combination skin (oily in places and dry), and this has been like a miracle product. It has even helped clear blemishes and smooth fine lines. 2. I apply this Rosebud Salve on hands, dry lips or extra dry patches on elbows or heels. Not only does it smell delicious, it delivers power-packed moisture and soothes skin something wonderful. Look for it at Sephora. And speaking of roses…

3. My newest obsession is from the Lush Cosmetics line, which prides itself on fresh, natural and handmade cosmetics. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a scent I’ve loved as much as this Rose Jam body wash. It is simply heavenly! Unlike other washes that can dry skin out, this one helps my skin feel moisturized even after the bath or shower, and leaves it smelling great. I recently discovered the companion body conditioner, and have no plans to use anything else anytime soon. My skin has never been softer. Purchase here.

4. If you weren’t sold on the NUDE line after reading above, let me tempt you a little more: the entire line is paraben and gluten free. This cleanser removes makeup and cleanses my skin without overdrying and without any irritation, while also providing gentle exfoliation. There’s some wonderful gluten and paraben free lines on the market right now, and I rank this among the best.
