This year’s Front Row Fashion Show Presented by Vogue showcased some of the season’s hottest looks straight from the pages of the magazine itself. With 100 percent of the proceeds from the show benefitting The Moyer Foundation, it was an evening to celebrate not only great fashion and style, but philanthropy as well.
The night kicked off with an introduction from Moyer Foundation co-founder Karen Moyer, who looked stunning in a chunky cable-knit sweater, paired with an a-line skirt and some mid-calf boots. She then introduced the evening’s hosts: Cara Crowley of Vogue, and television personality and style expert Lawrence Zarian, who was fresh off the Emmy red-carpet where he was a correspondent for ABC. Both looked dashing as usual; Cara in a floor-length dark navy one-shoulder dress, and Lawrence looking sharp in his suit.
As the lights dimmed and the music started thumping, the first showcase of looks featured layers such as shearling coats, sweaters, ankle boots and quilted vests. This was followed by rebel-inspired style, with a slight nod to the early nineties with its layered flannels, plaid, studded jackets and leather. Eye-catching color was also showcased; featuring bright hues of blues, reds and orange. The runway rocked with ready-to-wear looks from Vince, Aritzia, Eileen Fisher, and Bebe to name just a few.
Classy and chic also ruled the runway, with black being anything but basic and neutral tones proving that brown doesn’t have to be boring. Models this year rocked sleek pony tails and no-fuss hair and a bold cranberry or red lip, allowing the clothes to be the highlight of the night.
Accessories such as handbags and shoes, much like many of the looks, were once again a bold mix of materials and finishes, proving this year that mixing textures and patterns is definitely in. The night was capped off with evening wear looks from Nordstrom, Hugo Boss, Macy’s and Intermix, which dazzled the audience with shimmery and subtle yet glamorous fashion eye candy. The night was a very fashionable success, benefitting a great cause. If you’d like to shop any of the looks seen here and check out more photos from the evening, click here.
