I sit here looking out at the window gazing at the Columbia River & am in awe of what God has already done since arriving here on Monday. This home, filled with seventeen women from across the nation, has been a place where God has already mightily moved. . .and we still have until Friday afternoon!

Since the beginning of Delight, I have always dreamed of having a “team” where we could pray over, brainstorm about and set the foundation for the future of Delight. After a morning talking about spiritual gifts, an afternoon traveling to look at the Delight House, we all agreed that in order to move forward, we need to have Delight be a non-profit organization.

I have personally met with two different lawyers in 2014 in regards to starting a non-profit. I also talked to them about making sure that we have our “ducks in a row” as Delight is working with minors. This process, which will include insurance, is estimated to be around $8500-$10,000.
