Meet Amy Demos
Hello sweet girls!
Every first Tuesday of the month, I am so excited to be sharing one of my friends on the blog! In 2014, I had the blessing & honor of meeting Jordan & Amy Demos at an awesome photography conference called United. Jordan & Amy were not really well-known at that point in the photography industry as they had been full-time school teachers. But God so evidently called them to take a leap of faith and become full-time wedding photographers. It has been such an inspiration to watch them as they have put Jesus first! Seeing them purseHim and bring Him glory through their gift of photography is so encouraging! I hope you get to know Amy a little bit through her answers below! What are five words friends would use to describe you?
Ooh! That’s a hard question. I texted a friend who sent back, “Joyful, kind-hearted, loyal, brilliant, and cute-as-pie.” I obviously paid her ;)
If you could have lunch with one person who would it be and why?
Dave Ramsey. And I would make sure to pay cash ;) He’s changed my life, my marriage and my entire family tree. I look up to him so much as a business owner and leader.
If you had to choose one lens which one would it be?
Oh, definitely the 50mm 1.2. That lens is my baby. I take it everywhere.

What advice would you give to your 15 year old self?
Keep working hard. The habits you’re forming now will carry with you for the rest of your life. Put God first in everything you do. And stop wearing ribbon choker necklaces! That is NOT a cute look, Amy!
How does your relationship with God affect the way you do business?
I can’t separate the two! Jordan and I are Christ followers, which means our relationship with God is woven into every decision we make in our business. We start every day praying for God’s direction, and although we fall short often, we constantly strive to love and serve others the way He loves us.
Favorite bible verse?

How would you describe your style?
Our style is bright and full of joy :)
Who or what is the greatest love of your life?
That’s easy. Jordan Demos :) We started dating when I was seventeen, and we’ve been married for close to seven years now. He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. So Jordan Demos. And cookie butter ice cream.
Where do you find your inspiration?
We’re most inspired by our couples. By their love and laughter and the way they interact together.
If you could choose one person to photograph who would it be?
Taylor Swift. Because Taylor.
