Meet Haley {Be Featured Editor}

When I think of Delight…many things come to my mind. Of course the first thing that I always think is what can I do in this crazy world to shine brightly for the Lord?

Before I had heard about “Pursuing the Light” (now Delight) from Kristin and Katie, I had never heard of the term “being a light” as much. Yes, I did want to spread the good news about the love of my savior, but I never really knew how or in what ways I could lead others to the Lord.

Kristin came to me, telling me about a retreat she was putting together which I then became utterly excited about. In April I had the privilege attending and let me just say, that I was indeed forever changed.

I look back at the experience, and thank the lord every day for placing people like Kristin and Katie into my life and for creating something this amazing. Delight gives girls like me a chance to pursue their dreams, yet also let God lead the way and learn to be a light in this world… especially through photography.

I’ve been so blessed to have such a beautiful gift from the lord. Having a passion for photography has brought so much joy to my life. Being able to share it with others warms my heart. Being apart of this group has helped me in so many ways. The girls have inspired me. We have walked together through hard times, prayed together, laughed and cried together.

I have faith in God that he will lead more beautiful young woman of God to this group. I believe God has some amazing and wonderful things in store for this group. I believe this group of people will inspire many others, just like it has inspired me. I also believe, and know with all my heart, that it will be a blessing to many others as it has been a huge blessing to me.

I am beyond excited to be a part of this blog and so overjoyed to see what is to come, not just with the blog, but everything for Delight.  I also, have the privilege of being the editor of  the {Be Published} section. The published section will allow me to share with you about girls who are currently doing awesome things, whether through their business, or photo-shoots that are beautifully styled, well-put together, inspired or just plain fun. I hope, as our readers, that viewing a variety of photography will provide you with some inspiration and joy.
