Rachel Agurkis {Be Featured with Haley}
I am a passionate person and one of the most important mantras to me is following your dreams. I have loved taking photos since I can remember being able to hold a camera but my drive and passion for my own business really formed four years ago. Moments are so precious and important to me so I always feel incredibly honored and blessed when people allow me to capture theirs. These moments usually are so fleeting that I feel my job is so important and crucial to this crazy, adventurous thing we call life.
I’m always inspired by people and their stories. They have such important events happening and by choosing me to capture them is truly an amazing thing. As for other inspiration, I pick that up randomly. I enjoy having my camera on me at all times and capturing moments while personally experiencing them.
Being based in Duluth, Minnesota has also been an amazing journey so far. I am a recent 2012 UMD college graduate and enjoy this area so much. The culture, the lake, the people are all so tightly knit together and full of lively energy that it invigorates me on a daily basis. I love this city!
As a photographer, I hope to continue to grow in my passions for capturing moments, memories, and the natural you with just one click. I truly believe in the power of an image and want to share that passion with the world.
