as I was reading this, I had to do a double take at the part where you were describing how you felt about yourself, and was quite surprised, because every sentence is/was accurate for me. I could relate to all of it so much, and it just shows me how much farther i have to go…. which can be encouraging or negative depending on how you look at it..

Anyways, I found this post really inspiring, and I want to thank you for your honest and courage in sharing all these things.
I also don’t have my dad in my life, and have felt the same way. I often think that if I just looked better or something people would love me more…
i still find myself dwelling on the hurt from the past, so much so that I have a hard time accepting the good things that God wants to bring into my life right now…
It’s great to look at how far God has brought you, and i look forward to what He’s going to do in my life. =)
This was really encouraging, because I sooo much want to feel like a beautiful, innocent princess again.
I truly hope I can one day.
