This week, I am so happy to feature Sarah Delanie of “Sarah Delanie Photography.” Also, the executive editor of “Shine & Soar Magazine.”

Hi there! My name is Sarah Delanie, I am 16 years old & live in Fort Worth, Texas! I have a thing for // Iced Green Tea Lattes. Red Lipstick. Writing. Starbucks. Rainy Days.  Real People. Laughter. Dreams. Travel & Jesus.  //

I was always that annoying little kid running around with a camera in her hand, snapping candid shots of anyone I could. (horrible angles I might add) I have always been captivated by photography, along with a strong passion to embolden and encourage others & I guess when I put two n two together, there was no turning back.

• Jose Villa is my favorite photographer. His work melts my heart. It is so whimsical, free yet bold. 
• I love Wedding Photography; I am just now beginning to branch out into wedding photography, but Lord willing I would love to strictly shoot weddings by the end of this year. 
• My main lenses are my 50mm & occasionally I whip out my 85mm. My favorite lens is the 50mm 1.4.

||  Family Portrait Session || 

• How did you come up with the idea or what inspired you to do this shoot?: These are close family friends of ours, who contacted me to shoot their little girls and I was more than thrilled! This session was shot on the families ranch, which has several exotic animals freely roaming, beautiful! 
• The mother & I collaborated & stylized this shoot to personally fit them. Pastels, flowers, buttery light, open field & sweet loving sisters created a beautiful session that is my favorite to this day!
