{Be Devoted} Out Of Hiding And Into Revealing

Have you ever had a hard time taking the next step? I think we all feel a bit uneasy at times, am I right? This entire year, God has been guiding me and bringing me from a place of “hiding” into a place of complete freedom of joy. At first, it feels awkward and out of sorts…but He’s been saying, “Just do it for me! Let me see that joy in your eyes again!” The only way I can describe it is by using an example of a girl putting on a beautiful dress and for the very first time, and as she starts to take the step out of the dressing room to reveal the dress, she feels a bit unsure. She starts to feel awkward. Certain thoughts start to come in and by and by the, what is to be a special moment dwindles down. Little does she know, the King is absolutely ecstatic to see her in the gown though! He wants to see her be filled with joy, even just based upon the fact that He is delighting in her wholeheartedly! So, He says, “Come out my dear.” She slowly opens the door and a smile starts to appear on her face. She takes His delight to heart and gains strength and confidence in His words when He says, “I delight in you!” You see…what if we were moved by God’s love for us? Even if it feels weird and strange at first…those baby steps mature and grow. So, come out of hiding you are safe here with the King. Our Father is so genuine and our Father really cares about His children. As you take your step, ask the Lord to set His seal of a never ending fire upon your heart.
