Meet the team behind Tre Creative
Oh you guys!!! It’s Emily Moller! I’m taking over the Be Featured this week because I can’t WAIT…you guys get to meet one of the sweetest couples on the EARTH today!!! Well…you’ll at least get a first hand peek into their lives and who they are!! Stephen and Chelsey are the brilliant, gifted, and absolutely the sweetest duo behind Tre Creative. Together, they own a business that blesses SO many couples through photo and video, and their work is STUNNING!! But I’ll let you see that for yourself ;) I was so excited when Chelsey and I started chatting a few weeks ago and she was willing to send a little bio about her and their life as the Diaz’s! And without further ado…meet Stephen and Chelsey!!!

Hi! I’m Chelsey but my friends call me Chels. I am passionate about capturing authentic love and getting to know people on a personal level so I can better serve and love them. I’m thankful for my high school sweetheart, husband and business partner Stephen who constantly reminds me my worth is found in Jesus alone and points me straight to him. I went to school to become a speech therapist and along the way became so fascinated in photography. I always thought I would continue it as a hobby but never go full time in our business until my junior year of college when the Lord began tugging on my heart to trust him more and put my value and worth in Jesus alone. God began that work and opened my eyes to a deeper love for photography and how I could use that gift to glorify him and intimately point our brides back to Jesus.
Stephen and my story starts off in high school. After nine months of getting to know each other, we jumped into a roller coaster of a long-distance relationship for the next four years. From holiday breaks to summers spent working at a camp in the Santa Cruz mountains together, we took every chance we could to see one another during those next few years. We’ll always be thankful for that time of working together at camp–it was the thing that spurred this love for working alongside one another, a place where we grew the most, and the place where Stephen later proposed! In those years, Stephen pursued a degree in film production while I stayed at Chico State. Photo and video had always been a mutual passion of ours and the chance to use these gifts in a full time profession sounded like an exciting adventure that we were both so ready for! After school, we jumped in head first, committing ourselves to bettering our relationship with God, each other, our business, and the people around us. We founded TréCreative on a whim, not thinking especially me that I would ever be a full time wedding photographer. It’s interested how when God closes a door he’ll always open a better one. Running a business with my husband has been one wild ride full of some of my greatest adventures. We love being a husband and wife team and together we feel like we can better serve our couples. Stephen has his own set of strengths that are different than mine, and I have a another set of strengths that are different from his.
Lastly on a personal side, I really enjoy working out at our CrossFit gym and am excited about a new recent adventure of joining a Pilates studio as well! Hangry is a very real thing for me which is why I’m always snacking. And if you want to go thrifting, I’m totally your girl and love the adventure of finding a good deal! We recently purchased our home the #trecrib. We love having people over and making them feel loved and excepted right where they are!
