Who knew that you could make cute & classy art to spruce up your walls without having to spend much $$? I also love how personal you can make each piece to tailor it exactly towards the look you’re wanting to acheive!
These pieces of art can be made with dollar store frames & materials you have laying around.
The possibilities and options for this little project are endless and I barely scratched the surface! I hope these inspire you & help to get your creative juices flowing!! I can’t wait to see what y’all come up with!
Materials:
photo frames
{the square glass frames came from the dollar store… and you can always give old wooden frames new life with a fresh coat of paint!}
paper scraps | magazine cut outs | ribbon & fabric scraps | paint | markers | quotes | doilies |
How you create your art is up to you! For the following three frames, I layered textures and elements to achieve the look I was going for.
#1 >> scrap lace layered with a printed chevron square that I painted
#2 >> scrap burlap fringed at the bottom & layered with a magazine cut out. accented with a metal bulldog clip
#3 >> a hand written quote layered with ribbon
I would love to see what you come up with!! Email me pictures at info@fernwehphotography.com!
